August 28, 2005 Tony Humphrey is pictured with his "Spinneer Shark", caught on the West end of Crystal Beach, and his fishing partner, Terry Mullen, both from Orange. They fish the beach from Sea Rim to San Luis Pass regularly, specifically for sharks. He states the "Spinner Sharks", which is a close cousin to the Blacktip, was one of the biggest they have cought this year. It was approximatly 7 ft. long and between 200-210 lbs. |
